Job Title: Project Manager Senior

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead the implementation of a Laboratory Information System (LIMS) to our NHS client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive project plan in collaboration with the client, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Deliver projects on time to the required customer specification and within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Liaise and manage relationships with all project stakeholders, including Healthcare Organisations and other third-party suppliers.
  • Produce and maintain all project documentation in accordance with PRINCE2 methodology.
  • Provide weekly project updates for the Programme Manager, highlighting any contentious issues, risks, and project RAG status.
  • Maintain the project risk logs, managing and mitigating exposure to associated risks and escalating as appropriate.
  • Ensure project documents and customer sign-offs are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to ensure they have a clear understanding of the project objectives, timescales, and roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure new elements or upgrades of software and hardware are fully tested and user acceptance is signed before installation.
  • Provide PM cover for project go-lives and project RFCs, including out-of-hours cover when necessary.
  • Maintain time management records using the Company time recording application.
  • Ongoing maintenance of compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, including GDPR, ISO, and IG.
Requirements:
  • A wealth of project management experience delivering software implementations into the NHS and other healthcare networks.
  • Prince 2 or similar project management qualification.
  • Previous experience with the Pathology field.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
