Traffic Management Specialist

Vocation Recruitment Ltd is a leading agency providing skilled professionals to the traffic management sector across the UK.
We are currently seeking an experienced M5 Multi-phase Traffic Management Operative to support projects in and around Lincoln, Grantham, and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management, including cones, signs, frames, sandbags, and other equipment.
- Undertake traffic counts, communicate with clients and subcontractors, and monitor timings and near misses.
- Maintain temporary traffic lights, including battery changes.
- Help and guide new trainees on traffic management procedures and report back to the depot manager.
- Ensure compliance with Chapter 8 regulations for safe traffic flow.
- Perform site inspections and ensure health and safety standards are met.
- M5 Qualification (essential).
- Immediately available.
- Understanding of ARTSM's Guidance on the Use of Portable Traffic Signals.
- Knowledge of Chapter 8 regulations.
- Full driving licence with own transport and no more than 6 points & no current bans.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test (this is a mandatory requirement).
- All right to work and relevant ID.
- Positive can-do attitude with adaptability and flexibility.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
We offer competitive pay rates ranging from £13.50 to £15.50 per hour, depending on experience and payment preference.
Choose from a variety of payment options, including PAYE, LTD, and Self-Employed, for flexibility in how you are paid.
