Job Summary:

Avant Recruit is partnering with a leading company in the Motor Industry to find a skilled Vehicle Technician. This is a permanent position with excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine services on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Conduct repairs according to manufacturer specifications to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to address their concerns and provide solutions.
  • Test drive vehicles as needed to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, such as IMI or City & Guilds.
  • Have prior experience in a similar role, preferably with a strong background in vehicle diagnostics and repair.
  • Possess MOT Tester qualifications, which are highly desirable.
  • Be a team player, willing to collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Be flexible and willing to work on Saturdays on a rotational basis.
