Job Title: Assembly Production Manager

Job Summary:

Metalis Engineering Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Assembly Production Manager to oversee the production process and ensure effective and efficient operations.

The Role:

  1. Manage production schedules and monitor adherence to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  2. Collaborate with sales teams to report on production performance and inform future bids.
  3. Manage resources and staffing levels to optimize production efficiency.
  4. Communicate and address scheduling or quality issues with teams.
  5. Participate in quality meetings and NCR activities to identify root causes.
  6. Lead and motivate production teams, team leaders, and support staff through daily production meetings.
  7. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to improve production processes.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience operating CNC machines.
  2. Team leader experience.
  3. Apprentice-trained.
  4. Fanuc or Mazatrol experience advantageous.
  5. Proficiency in manufacturing software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools.
  6. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

Benefits:

  1. Salary: Up to 44k per annum (DOE).
  2. Days-only working hours.
  3. Early finish on Fridays.
