Grafton Recruitment is currently looking for an Aviation Education Instructor to join our team.

The Aviation Education Instructor will empower students with essential skills for their future through the provision of exceptional education and training.

The role involves delivering high-quality teaching and managing the necessary preparation and assessment to facilitate effective learning.

Main Responsibilities of the Aviation Education Instructor:
You will instruct and evaluate students across various courses and learning programs, tailored to your expertise and qualifications. You will engage in all essential planning, preparation, and assessment to ensure superior teaching and learning experiences.

Your responsibilities will also include necessary administrative tasks such as student registration, attendance tracking, record keeping, and communication with parents and guardians for learners aged 16-18.

Your role will involve preparing students for advanced levels of study (including Higher Education) and crucially for the workforce, by developing specific vocational skills and employability competencies through the curriculum and leveraging external/internal partnerships.

In addition to teaching, instructors play a vital role in providing pre-course and on-course guidance to support learners in achieving successful outcomes.

This will involve conducting learner interviews and enrollment, as well as participating in marketing and public relations activities related to the course.

You will have overall responsibility for the academic and pastoral care of assigned groups, coordinating support requirements for students in collaboration with your Curriculum Team Leader and Progress Tutor.


Qualifications and Skills Required:
Possession of an appropriate level teaching qualification and Assessor Award or a willingness to pursue these qualifications
Ability to deliver engaging lessons to students of varying levels and abilities, utilizing flexible and innovative teaching methods
Capability to translate practical experience into effective learning activities
A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in education and training
