We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Renishaw. As a key member of our Embedded Software team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating firmware for our Additive Manufacturing systems.
As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary teams to engineer user-centred designs for our products. You will also be responsible for guiding junior engineers through complex technical challenges and supporting their professional development.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in embedded software development, including experience with C, Eclipse, and STM32. You should also have a good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
About You- You should have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
- You should have a passion for developing software solutions and applying best software practices to embedded deliverables.
- You should have experience with tools such as Eclipse, Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Enterprise Architect, GIT, and Atlassian suite.
- You should be proficient in C and have experience with ecosystems such as STM32, Zephyr, and Linux.
- You should have experience with PCB layout tools and be able to capture firmware requirements and specifications.
