Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter Engineer to join our team at the Non-Ferro Recovery Company (NRC). As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for the technical status, maintenance, and repair of our UK site installation equipment, machinery, and mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair UK site installation equipment, machinery, and mechanical components to ensure optimum output.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the technical workings of various equipment components to promptly identify errors and implement repairs.
  • Collaborate with HQ Workshops, UK Project Managers, and Installation Team Leaders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Regularly inspect installation machines and equipment to identify and repair faulty components.
  • Responsible for the set-up, implementation, control, and monitoring of daily, weekly, and monthly procedural installation status checklists.
  • Communicate effectively with NRC Senior Management at Head Office to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Ensure good team spirit and motivation, and set clear maintenance goals for our UK Site Installation team.
  • Ensure UK compliance with daily/weekly/preventative maintenance requirements, maintaining mechanical systems, repairing and maintaining operating machinery to enhance longevity and prevent accidents.
  • Organize transportation and logistics of parts from Head Office Netherlands.
  • Perform administration duties as required.
  • Supply cover for Installation Site Managers as needed.
  • Ensure strict implementation and compliance with all EU/UK Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
  • Work remotely across the UK as required.
Requirements:
  • IT and computer literacy.
  • Leadership and interdepartmental communication skills.
  • UK accredited Health and Safety Qualification (CITB) preferably.
