Job Summary:

Hunter Selection is seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our client's Production team in Portsmouth. As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for manufacturing, repairing, and modifying injection mould tools, as well as working closely with mould shop setters and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture, repair, and modify injection mould tools to meet production requirements.
  • Work closely with mould shop setters and supervisors to ensure efficient tooling processes.
  • Assist with the development of tooling processes and preventative maintenance.
  • Comply with the schedule and maintenance plan to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain and look after Toolroom equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship-trained or time-served in a Toolroom environment.
  • Experience working in a busy Toolroom environment with a focus on milling and turning.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Current RTW in the UK.
