About the Role

We are seeking a collaborative leader with a missional heart to serve as the Vicar of St Mary's. This is an exciting opportunity to join a church with great potential for growth and to be part of a community that is engaged in all aspects of church life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the church in its mission and ministry, encouraging the congregation to grow in their faith and to serve the community.
  • Develop and implement a vision for the church, working with the congregation and other stakeholders to achieve its goals.
  • Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the congregation, helping them to deepen their faith and to live out their Christian values.
  • Build relationships with the local community, developing partnerships and collaborations to benefit the church and the wider community.
  • Manage the church's resources, including its finances, buildings, and personnel.
  • Represent the church in the local community, promoting its work and values.
Requirements
  • A strong personal faith and a deep compassion for others.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Experience of leading a church or other faith community, with a track record of growth and development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, building strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage resources and prioritize tasks.
