Job Summary

Mckinlay Law is seeking an experienced Commercial/Corporate Paralegal to join our team. As a Commercial/Corporate Paralegal, you will provide support to our lawyers and clients in the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to corporate and trust matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and Review of Legal Documents: Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to corporate and trust matters, including loan agreements, assignment agreements, share purchase agreements, and option agreements.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research and provide advice on corporate and trust law matters.
  • Communication with Third Parties: Communicate with third parties, including promoters, investment managers, financial advisors, and service providers to the client companies and trusts.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform ad hoc tasks as required by the team.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Commercial/Corporate Paralegal or in a similar role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of corporate and trust law, excellent drafting and communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
