Job Title: Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our Older People Services team at CrossReach. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and delivering a range of therapeutic and engaging activities tailored to the needs of our service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organise and deliver indoor activities, outings, and one-to-one sessions that cater to the diverse needs of our service users.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Contribute to our Christian ethos by leading worship and prayer sessions in line with CrossReach policy.
  • Work closely with the team to develop and implement individual care plans that promote the well-being and dignity of our service users.
Requirements:
  • SVQ 3 in Social Care or willingness to achieve within a specified timeframe.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using relevant software.
  • Christian faith and commitment to upholding our Christian ethos.
  • Membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
