Shift Engineer Opportunity at Jordans Dorset Ryvita

We are seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our team at Jordans Dorset Ryvita, a leading manufacturer of food products. As a Shift Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out timely and professional repairs and planned maintenance on all site equipment
  • Take a lead in health and safety and provide technical assistance to the Operating and Hygiene teams
  • Work safely by applying sound engineering principles and safe systems of work
  • Effectively communicate with the engineering teams at shift handovers to ensure continuity of technical issues
  • Provide reactive support, planned maintenance, and continuous improvements on equipment throughout the factories
Requirements:
  • Nationally recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds Level 3 diploma)
  • Nationally recognised qualification in mechanical discipline (NVQ L2 / City & Guilds)
  • Wide ranging knowledge of engineering practical fundamentals
