Oliver Wyman is a global leader in management consulting, with a presence in 70 cities across 30 countries. As an Event Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading internal and client events across Europe, while developing and implementing a strategic event program for the UKI market.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the planning and execution of events, including intimate dinners, roundtables, networking events, and multiday conferences.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the UKI Market Leader, OW Forum Executive Team, and UK Marketing Head, to develop and implement event strategies.
- Manage event logistics, including venue contracting, travel management, invitation and registration, and event setup and AV production.
- Oversee budgets and expenses for all managed events.
- Provide consultancy services to business teams, advising on event planning and firm guidelines.
- Support the Events Director on regional and global initiatives across Europe as required.
- At least 7 years of international event management experience, with a focus on large-scale events.
- Experience coaching team members and leading project teams.
- Previous experience in the management consultancy or professional services sector is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office and meeting management software.
