Make a Difference in Children's Lives

Achieving for Children is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join their Referral & Assessment Team in Kingston & Richmond. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective plans to support children's needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior social workers
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve service outcomes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social work, preferably in children's services
  • Strong assessment and planning skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, children, and families
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands
