HGV Class 2 Driver Job Description

Pure Staff Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to work with one of our clients in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV Class 2 driving license, a minimum of 6 months experience, and a valid CPC card.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a Class 2 lorry safely and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Complete deliveries and collections in a timely manner
  • Use a tail lift and pump truck to load and unload palletised loads
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Class 2 driving license
  • Minimum of 6 months experience
  • Valid CPC card
  • Clean driving license with no more than 6 points
Benefits:
  • Competitive pay rate: £16ph on days PAYE, £17.00ph on nights PAYE
  • Holiday pay payable with 7 days' notice of booked holiday
  • Enrollment in a pension scheme after 3 months
