Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our Subsurface Compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and appraising client Well (Drilling; Well Engineering) and Seismic databases and repositories to produce complete evaluations and output for specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the company's compliance with regulatory data obligations to the NSTA, and compile relevant information and samples plans in connection with any license events.
  • Sourcing and verifying data and information, ensuring provenance and quality control, with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the offshore energy sector.
  • Collaborate with the Geoscience community and relevant client representatives to ensure compliance and data governance.
  • Working knowledge of data retention and Corporate Regulatory Requirements, as well as experience using the NSTA NDR.
  • Subsurface data lifecycles, Infrastructure, Environmental and Production Regulations and Lifecycles, and Corporate Data Governance.
Requirements
  • Working Knowledge and experience of the UK Regulatory Framework inclusive of; (WONS Applications, provision of ISPs and management of data obligations with JV Partners).
  • Experience as an Information and Samples Coordinator (ISC), PON_9 Coordinator, Former CDA Council, Licence Coordinator or similar.
  • Knowledge of Physical storage and digitisation programmes, or transcription.
  • Desired Experience supporting License Events, or UKCS Licensing Round Applications.
