Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

Birtenshaw is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team in Bolton. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare and safety of children and young people in our care, while also managing a team of dedicated staff.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of Children's Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Framework for Inspection.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote the welfare and safety of children and young people.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless care and support for children and young people.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least two years' experience in a children's home or similar setting.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of supervising a team.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and staff.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £43,000 per annum, increasing to £50,000 upon completion of probationary period and relevant Level 5 qualification.
