Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a Weekend Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the provision of a medicines optimisation service 7 days a week.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage time and resources to ensure timely and appropriate delivery of pharmacy services across the hospital.
  • Minimise risk to patients, public, and healthcare professionals by providing expert advice on drug handling, administration, and disposal.
  • Prioritise and allocate workload to ensure efficient discharge of patients.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team of pharmacists delivering a clinical pharmacy service to medical and surgical admission units on weekends and weekdays. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent from an accredited University registered with the GPhC.
  • 1 year Pre-Registration training.
  • Current registered Member of the GPhC.
  • UK hospital experience.
  • Multi-disciplinary teamwork.
  • Demonstrate an appropriate level of clinical reasoning and judgement.
