We are excited to offer a significant opportunity for a Night Transport Operations Supervisor to become a vital part of our expanding team at Brakes.
In this essential position within our logistics framework, you will oversee a team of drivers, ensuring they meet the highest operational standards. Your daily responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including monitoring compliance with all regulatory requirements, company protocols, and operational procedures, as well as recognizing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance our logistics processes.
To be successful in this role, you should possess extensive knowledge and experience in transport operations, along with strong leadership capabilities. You will assist the Distribution Manager in fostering a high-performing team of drivers and administrative staff. A comprehensive understanding of critical regulatory standards is necessary, and while CPC qualification is preferred, substantial experience with a commitment to further education in this area will also be considered. This role is multifaceted, requiring you to manage budgetary constraints while also cultivating a positive work environment for your colleagues. You will lead by example, upholding and promoting standards in service quality, health and safety, and compliance.
