Job Title: Chef Manager

Caterlink is the education sector catering specialist, delivering fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, and Colleges across the UK. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality service, we are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join our team.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a successful Additional Educational Needs specialist school, where you will be responsible for managing the catering team and ensuring a high-quality service is provided to our clients. As a Chef Manager, you will work closely with all stakeholders to deliver exceptional results and maintain a positive working relationship with the client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the catering team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the client's requirements and preferences
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring profitability and quality
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the client to understand their needs and preferences
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a management role, with a minimum of 5 years in catering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and staff
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team
  • Culinary qualifications are desirable, but not essential
