Associate Medical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Medical Director to join our clinical pharmacology unit at AL Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of trial participants and delivering high-quality studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the clinical pharmacology unit and oversee the delivery of clinical trials
  • Perform screening, ongoing monitoring, and post-study clinical examinations
  • Act as the Principal Investigator for clinical trials, including First-In-Human studies
  • Line manage a small team of Research Physicians and provide guidance to the Head of Departments for the clinical and enrolment departments
  • Deputise the Senior Medical Director and participate in commercial development activities
  • Evaluate participant eligibility and obtain written consent for inclusion in studies

Requirements:

  • Medical degree with GMC registration
  • Experience conducting clinical trials in a clinical pharmacology unit
  • Experience as the Principal Investigator in First-In-Human studies
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of MHRA Phase I accreditation requirements
  • Previous line management experience
