About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our team at NHS National Services Scotland. The successful candidate will have a strong background in programme management, with experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve a common goal.

About the Organisation

NHS National Services Scotland is a national NHS Board operating at the heart of NHSScotland. We provide invaluable support and advice at a strategic and operational level, working in partnership with colleagues across Health and Social Care to deliver fit for purpose solutions and systems.

The Post

The National Specialist and Screening Directorate plans, funds and co-ordinates national specialist and screening services on behalf of NHS Boards and the Scottish Government Health and Social Care Directorates. The post holder will have the ability to provide robust programme and change management within complex programme environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive forward specific programmes of work within agreed timeframes
  • Provide leadership, influencing, organisational skills and the ability to produce written work of the highest quality
  • Work on own initiative, be proactive, manage and prioritise a busy work schedule and demonstrate attention to detail
