Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Electrical Systems Engineer to become an integral part of our engineering team.

Role Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical machinery within the facility. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and will be expected to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and operational protocols.

Key Duties Include:

  • Engaging in clear and effective communication with your shift supervisor to assess daily workload.
  • Ensuring that all tasks are properly handed over to the next shift or continued to minimize operational downtime.

Performance Metrics:
Key performance indicators for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess an HNC/HND/C&G or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in troubleshooting PLC systems is advantageous, though not mandatory.
  • Ability to maintain installation infrastructure effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer applications relevant to the role.

Work Schedule:
This position operates on a 1 in 3 shift pattern.
