About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drama Psychotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in a forensic adult in-patient setting. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with service users who have complex mental health issues and forensic histories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist Drama Psychotherapy services, including assessment and treatment for individuals and groups.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including psychiatry, nursing, psychology, occupational therapists, and social work.
  • Engage in service development projects, offer specialist training, and provide support to staff teams.
  • Supervise Arts Psychotherapies trainees and contribute to the development of the Arts Psychotherapy team.
Person Specification
  • MA or equivalent in Drama Therapy.
  • Current HCPC registration or intent and eligible to register.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience post-qualification.
