Job Summary:

E3 Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Team Leader to join our client's team on a contract basis. As a Production Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading a team of CNC machinists and mechanical assembly technicians to achieve manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of CNC machinists and mechanical assembly technicians to achieve manufacturing schedules and job progress.
  • Deputise for the Night Shift Supervisor as needed and provide support and guidance to colleagues.
  • Monitor workload and ensure company policies, procedures, and processes are consistently adhered to.
  • Work closely with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining and mechanical assembly processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive annual salary: £50,000 per annum (based on 37 hours per week).
  • Hourly rate: £26.35 per hour.
  • 33 days' holiday entitlement, including public holidays.
  • Annual bonus up to £1,700.00 per annum, subject to company performance.
  • 15% combined pension contribution (9% employer, 6% employee).
  • Access to the onsite canteen (subsidised) and gym.
  • Free onsite car parking.
