Senior Nurse in Paediatric Intensive Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Paediatric Intensive Care (PICU) team at St George's Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nurses to deliver exceptional care to critically ill children.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert nursing care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of care.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care, including supervision, mentoring, and coaching.
- Develop and implement education and training programs for nurses and other healthcare professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge in paediatric intensive care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.

Person Specification- Essential:
- Nursing qualification and experience in paediatric intensive care.
- Post-registration ICU course or equivalent.
- Desirable:

- Practice Assessor or Practice Supervisor Qualification.
