Position Overview Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location: Central London Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 based on experience Innovative shift pattern with 3 days off weekly and no overnight shifts Comprehensive employee benefits package Sodexo is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our dedicated team. You will be working with a prestigious client in the Central London area.

In this role, you will be essential in maintaining the optimal performance of various mechanical and electrical building services and equipment. Your responsibilities will encompass low voltage systems, general illumination, building management systems, small power distribution, motors, pumps, and other apparatus commonly found in contemporary commercial and industrial settings.

You will also be instrumental in the development, execution, and enhancement of maintenance strategies for assets, leveraging the latest best practices, tools, and methodologies. By collaborating closely with the Technical Services team, you will adopt a customer-centric approach to ensure ongoing value in service delivery.

About You Required Experience and Knowledge:
  • Electrically qualified multi-skilled engineer with C&G level 3 & 18 th edition certification
  • At least 3 years of experience in a building services role within a corporate environment
  • Proficient in diagnosing issues with Simmtronic lighting control systems
  • Familiarity with works order planning databases, specifically Maximo
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Eagerness and capability to receive training for any skill gaps
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Minimum IOSH Working Safely or equivalent safety certification
  • Excellent technical knowledge and a solid overview of mechanical and electrical building services
  • Proven track record in issuing permits, drafting risk assessments, and conducting HS&E monitoring
  • Experience in reviewing existing maintenance regimes and implementing improvements
  • Strong written communication skills, capable of producing technical engineering reports
  • Experience in managing and coordinating service contractors and contracts
