About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Busy Bees Day Nursery in Belper, Derbyshire.
Job Summary
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks to our children, in line with food hygiene and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals and snacks for children, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
- Follow safe working practices for children and staff, and comply with Busy Bees food hygiene and safety policies.
- Comply with the company's procedures relating to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about providing high-quality food and excellent customer service. You will need to hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, and be willing to undergo training and development opportunities.
