Immunisation Nurse/Midwife Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Immunisation Nurse/Midwife to join our team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is a 12-month fixed-term position to cover maternity leave.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the immunisation maternity service, providing clinical expertise to pregnant women, and supporting staff, women, and their families. They will also be responsible for reporting immunisation data to the Trust and Public Health England.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Work in partnership with clients, midwives, GPs, obstetricians, and other agencies to ensure pregnant women are offered and given seasonal influenza, pertussis, and Covid-19 vaccinations.
  2. Lead and manage the maternity immunisation service, ensuring 7-day-a-week cover.
  3. Manage Band 5 Nurses and Band 3 support workers within the immunisation service.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse or Midwife
  • Trained in immunisation
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery or related subject
Contract Details

Fixed term: 12 months

Salary

£42,939 to £50,697 a year, including HCLAWorking Pattern
