The successful candidate will work closely with clinicians and academics to develop and implement clinical research studies, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of clinical knowledge in rheumatology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Management of Clinical Research Studies: The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and managing a portfolio of clinical research studies, ensuring that all studies are conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and relevant professional standards.
- Patient Advocacy and Support: The successful candidate will act as a patient advocate, promoting the wellbeing needs of patients and supporting them through their clinical research journey.
- Study Coordination and Data Management: The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day coordination of clinical trials and studies, including management of study documents, data collection, and study consumables.
- Professional Development: The successful candidate will be proactive in establishing personal development needs and attending training courses to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Communication and Teamwork: The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and patients, and will contribute to the creation of standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
- Experience: Experience in clinical research nursing or a related field
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in computer skills
