We are seeking a motivated and caring Senior Clinical Support Worker to join our Respiratory Team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting patients with complex respiratory conditions in various community settings.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of patients with complex respiratory conditions, performing capillary blood gases and fire risk assessments as needed.
- Provide support and cover for senior respiratory staff, working autonomously and as part of a team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in structured clinical supervision and contribute to team meetings, shared learning, and reflective practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
- GCSEs Grade A-C in Maths and English or equivalent.
- Specialist specific modules or a willingness to undertake further training in these areas.
- Previous experience of working within a health/care setting in the field of respiratory care.
- Relevant experience of working self-directed or as part of a team.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- 2 years experience in managing/supporting long-term conditions.
- Previous experience of working independently, including managing own caseload (under supervision).
- A comprehensive induction into the community service, followed by a local induction to introduce you to the role.
