Net Zero Sales Consultant

At Utility People, we're committed to making energy and net zero simple. As our Net Zero Sales Consultant, you'll play a vital role in achieving this mission. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with our clients' net zero, carbon emissions, and sustainability sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, focusing on net-zero solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, ensuring alignment with net-zero ambitions and SBTi criteria.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their sustainability goals and challenges.
  • Conduct presentations, meetings, and workshops to educate clients on net-zero strategies, products, and SBT guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the sustainability or renewable energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of net-zero concepts, renewable energy technologies, carbon accounting, and Science Based Targets (SBT or SBTi).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passion for sustainability and helping organisations decarbonise their business processes.
  • Degree educated in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
