Work Pattern: 11.45am to 1.15pm, Monday to Friday

Job Summary:

The Governors of Audenshaw Primary School and Governor Led Nursery are seeking a dedicated and caring Midday Assistant to provide support and supervision to pupils during the lunchtime break. The successful candidate will have a kind, patient, and friendly approach to working with children, and previous experience in a similar role is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support pupils during the lunchtime break in the playground, classroom, and dining areas
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for pupils to eat and socialize
  • Assist with the management of pupil behavior and discipline
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff to ensure a smooth and efficient lunchtime service

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children is desirable
  • A kind, patient, and friendly approach to working with children
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
