Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Culinary Team Member to join our kitchen team at Grosvenor Casino, Manchester Bury New Road. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food to our customers, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation and Presentation
    • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to order, using fresh ingredients and adhering to recipe standards.
    • Present dishes in an appealing and visually appealing manner.
  • Customer Service
    • Acknowledge and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Assist customers with their food and beverage orders.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and high-quality food.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene
    • Follow all HACCP and safety guidelines to ensure that food safety is maintained throughout the venue.
    • Report any food safety or hygiene issues to the head chef or duty manager.

Requirements

  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced casino or restaurant setting.
    • Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food presentation and quality.
