Job Overview

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Control and Instrumentation team, you will be responsible for delivering complex engineering solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop integrated process control systems, ensuring compliance with legislative, safety, and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Lead and develop a small team of Control and Instrumentation engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for personal and team development, ensuring that professional capabilities are maintained and improved.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of engineering lifecycle phases and technical specialities.
  • Significant experience producing and communicating design documentation and artefacts relating to Control Systems.
  • Experience developing solutions to meet complex technical requirements in a highly regulated industry.
  • Relevant Professional Registration (CEng) or ability to obtain.
