Ecommerce Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Project Manager to join our dynamic team at ECOM. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing ecommerce projects from initial implementation to ongoing development and support for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery, within scope, and on budget.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Collaborate with the development team to clearly define project requirements and ensure successful delivery.
  • Apply agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to manage project workflows and deliverables.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of projects, including budget tracking and financial reporting.
  • Provide strategic guidance and take the initiative in driving projects forward, with minimal need for oversight.
  • Assist with product configuration and user story writing to support project delivery.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in managing ecommerce projects.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms such as Adobe Commerce (Magento), Shopify, BigCommerce, etc.
  • Proficiency in agile project management methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively manage client interactions.
  • A self-motivated individual who can take the lead on projects and drive them to completion.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A genuine passion for ecommerce and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
