Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Leader to join our team at Safran Landing Systems. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with suppliers, ensuring our requirements are clearly recognized, and driving supplier performance to meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers to ensure our requirements are met
  • Analyze and implement improvement requests for poor-performing suppliers
  • Participate in multisite supplier business reviews with a cross-functional team
  • Work with the Supplier Performance Quality Leader to implement supplier performance strategy and initiatives
  • Manage internal expectations with key customers to ensure full customer satisfaction

Logistics & Order Policy

  • Provide detailed views of supplier part portfolios and recommend logistics conditions, lead times, and batch sizes for inclusion in the Logistic Executive Agreement
  • Review lot sizes and planned delivery times with suppliers and ensure compliance with contractual documents and lot size policy

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems and MRP2 principles in SAP
  • Experience in aerospace is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Negotiating and influencing skills
  • Business understanding and commercial awareness
