About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geography Examiner to join our team at Pearson. As an Examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our International GCSE Geography assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mark candidates' responses in accordance with our pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to our conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times to ensure overall standards are maintained.
  • Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to, and all administration is completed as specified.

Requirements

  • You will have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, within the relevant qualification subject, and since qualifying as a teacher.
  • You will have a degree or equivalent, and be a qualified teacher.
  • You will have the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
