About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to join our team at GTS International Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving plant efficiency, enhancing maintenance schedules, and creating a proactive operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Plant Efficiency: Develop and optimize maintenance schedules to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Implement Robust Processes: Establish and maintain effective procedures to ensure seamless operations and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage Network Rail Possession Planning System: Ensure efficient operations and coordination with other departments.
  • Monitor and Report Key Performance Indicators: Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other teams to achieve overall business goals and ensure the smooth running of plant operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Plant Manager role, ideally within the rail industry or a related sector.
  • Strong knowledge of LOLER and experience with the Network Rail Possession Planning System.
  • A proactive and ambitious mindset, with a passion for driving improvements and implementing change.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, plant management, or a related field would be advantageous.
