HGV Class 1 Driver

Job Summary:

MDE Group UK LTD is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team based in the Chepstow area. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle, adhering to tacho regulations and ensuring accurate records are kept.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks, reporting any issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Load security is paramount; ensure all loads are properly secured and transported safely.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Assessment will be booked prior to starting the role.
Requirements:
  • UK HGV Class 1 Licence with 6 months experience preferred (no newly qualified for insurance purposes).
  • Max 6 points with no major endorsements (DD/DG/DR/IN/TT/CD/UT).
  • Valid Tacho and CPC.
