Location: Watton, Norfolk
Meridian Business Support Limited is seeking a Nursing Operations Manager for a prominent National Private Healthcare Provider.
As a unit manager within a care facility, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the facility manager with the daily management of operations. You will collaborate with a dedicated management team, working alongside our nursing staff and caregivers to ensure a high standard of service delivery that aligns with the needs of our residents. Your primary focus will be on ensuring optimal nursing and clinical care for our residents while actively participating in clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Facility Manager to create and enforce effective clinical governance policies and adhere to NICE guidelines and procedures, maintaining compliance with NMC guidelines and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Guide and mentor nursing staff and caregivers, offering training on current clinical practices, including medication management, wound care, and regular health assessments of residents.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of care records for all residents, ensuring care plans are reflective of individual needs in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate and enhance clinical standards throughout the care facility, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Work in partnership with the Facility Manager and broader management team to foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages staff engagement, learning, and professional growth.
  • Serve as a role model for nursing staff and caregivers, exemplifying best clinical practices and providing leadership and guidance as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a managerial role within the healthcare sector.
  • Friendly demeanor with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strong team player with effective coaching and mentoring capabilities.
  • Proficient clinical skills, emphasizing person-centered care.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, effectively prioritizing tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on solutions.
  • Proficient in IT, with experience in managing electronic records and databases.
