About the Role
As a Civil and Structural Engineer, you will provide engineering expertise and leadership to project teams focused on the design and construction of infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting engineering feasibility assessments and producing preliminary designs and reports to meet professional quality standards.
  • Planning and executing condition surveys, along with writing comprehensive technical reports.
  • Preparing concept designs and options studies that will serve as the foundation for further development.
  • Overseeing and managing subcontractors engaged in design work.
  • Conducting peer reviews as necessary.
  • Inspecting and reporting on matters related to construction sites.

Your Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • A degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent qualification.
  • Chartered Engineer status or be working towards Professional Registration with ICE or IStructE.
  • Postgraduate experience in the design and construction of infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and Codes of Practice relevant to design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with other construction disciplines throughout the design and construction lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in CAD, particularly in producing and manipulating REVIT models.
