Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Junior/Mid-Level Competition Associate to join our dynamic Competition team. The successful candidate will have strong experience in antitrust, excellent written communication and drafting skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate initiative. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated lawyer to join a prestigious firm and contribute to high-profile cases, advancing their career in a supportive and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • EU and UK merger control;
  • Article 101/Chapter 1 cases (e.g., cartel investigations)
  • Abuse of dominance (Article 102/Chapter2): and
  • Competition litigation
  • Ability to draft, advise and negotiate in relation to complex transactions

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in competition law
  • Strong academic credentials and a proven track record of success in a top-tier law firm.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.
