Job Title: Fabric Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Fabric Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Bristol. As a Fabric Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting routine inspections and maintenance of fabric structures, identifying and repairing damages to fabric installations, and assisting with installation and upgrades of fabric systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of fabric structures to ensure they are in good working condition.
  2. Identify and repair damages to fabric installations to prevent further damage and ensure safety.
  3. Assist with installation and upgrades of fabric systems to ensure they meet the required standards.
  4. Select, procure, and manage fabric materials and tools to ensure they are available when needed.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  6. Maintain documentation and prepare reports on fabric conditions to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Coordinate with maintenance staff and communicate with management to ensure effective teamwork and collaboration.
  8. Implement preventive maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and ensure equipment is running smoothly.
  9. Train and supervise junior staff and maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  10. Apply technical expertise to solve fabric-related issues and provide solutions to improve fabric performance.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in fabric maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
