About the Job

Reporting to the Managing Director, this candidate will be responsible for assisting with and completing various duties, including the preparation of quarterly accounts, assisting with annual accounts and audit files, and ensuring invoices received are VAT compliant. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a busy finance environment and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

* Preparation of quarterly accounts
* Assisting with annual accounts and audit files
* Daily processing of purchase/sales ledger
* Ensuring invoices received are VAT compliant
* Supplier payments
* Process VAT and other statutory returns
* Quarter end journals
* Balance sheet reconciliation
* Ad hoc duties
* Maintenance of internal reconciliation spread sheets
* Preparation of pre-payments
* Review of P+L codes
* Bank reconciliations
* Intercompany reconciliations

Requirements

* Hold or studying towards IATI qualification or equivalent
* Previous experience working in a busy finance environment
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Evidence of analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
