Commercial Property Lawyer / CILEx – TSR-Legal

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Conveyancer to join our dynamic property team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of commercial property transactions, ensuring that all matters are handled efficiently, professionally, and with the highest level of client care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Caseload: Handle a wide range of commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and development projects.
  • Drafting and Reviewing: Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on property transactions, including title checks, searches, and other relevant inquiries.
  • Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and best practice standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across different departments, including Residential Property, Corporate, and Litigation, to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Business Development: Participate in networking and business development activities to grow the firm's client base and reputation in the commercial property sector.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with a focus on commercial property law.
  • Proven experience in handling commercial conveyancing matters with a strong understanding of property law.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Comfortable using case management systems and other legal software, as well as standard office applications like Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working within a busy commercial property team.
  • Knowledge of local property market trends and issues.
  • Active involvement in local business networks or legal associations.
