Teaching Assistant Role in a Thriving Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a friendly and inclusive primary school in Farnborough. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children to achieve their learning goals under the guidance of the class teacher.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children in achieving learning goals and promoting positive behaviour
  • Act as a role model and promote a positive learning environment
  • Provide support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) as directed
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of learning activities
  • Provide detailed feedback to teachers on pupil progress and achievement
  • Contribute to the development of a stimulating and safe learning environment
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children (desirable)
  • Enthusiasm for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
