Job Title: Principal HVAC Designer

Job Summary:

Petrofac is seeking a highly skilled Principal HVAC Designer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering HVAC systems for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HVAC design philosophies and specifications
  • Lead the design and development of HVAC systems, including equipment selection and sizing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HVAC systems meet project requirements
  • Manage and coordinate HVAC design deliverables, including calculations, reports, and drawings
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications
  • Participate in design reviews and HAZOP studies
  • Develop and maintain HVAC design standards and guidelines

Deliverables:

  • HVAC equipment schedule and bill of materials
  • HVAC specifications and supplier document requirement list
  • Engineering enquiry and purchase requisitions
  • Technical bid evaluations
  • HVAC scope of works
  • HVAC calculations and reports

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HVAC design and engineering
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and design principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software and tools
