About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group. As a Penetration Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive security testing of hardware and software components that make up modern IT and telecoms networks.
  • Conduct thorough positive and negative testing and fuzzing of complex network functions and protocols.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of protocols used in Telecoms networks, including Diameter, HTTP/2, SCTP, NGAP, and other relevant protocols.
  • Design and implement new security testing capabilities and techniques to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Analyze and communicate complex technical findings, weaknesses, and results from testing to stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality technical reports outlining technical risk and impact of each identified finding.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of security evaluation specialists to drive innovation and excellence in security testing.
Requirements
  • Hold an SC clearance with no restrictions, or have the ability to obtain an SC clearance.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of security testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies in the field of cyber security.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
