We are in search of a proficient Mechanical Assembly Technician, possessing substantial experience in a manufacturing setting. If you are a motivated and ambitious individual looking to build a successful and fulfilling career in a distinctive environment, this opportunity may be ideal for you. You will engage with various Packaging Machinery equipment, which is produced and distributed globally, primarily serving the Food and Pharmaceutical industries.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble and commission machinery, machine modules, and sub-assemblies based on engineering schematics and 3D models.
  • Collaborate within a compact manufacturing team to achieve optimal results.
  • Adhere to all departmental protocols.
  • Assemble components to meet specified standards.
  • Complete all necessary quality documentation for assigned tasks.
  • Identify assembly or component issues and report any quality concerns.
  • Operate handling equipment and machinery upon receiving proper training.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of 5S standards.
  • Proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Apprenticeship training - Preferred
  • Prior assembly experience
  • Capability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with Bills of Materials.
  • Comfortable handling a variety of components, including sheet metal and machined/electrical parts.
  • Forklift certification - Preferred
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles - Preferred
